JAMwIsE - August 2008 mix
I found this on an old SD card, it’s by a student radio DJ named Jimmy Beanz - an extremely talented contributor to the Canterbury DnB scene. This guy did everything. He was president of the uni’s DnB society, a producer, a DJ, and even MC. He featured in every big local lineup, often as penultimate DJ then immediately being MC for the headline set.

I found this in the dnb tag channel. I really love this tune and I’ve heard it used plenty of times to bring down the crowd a level, for a little bit of chill time. The MC helps, obviously. Great example was Eksman alongside DJ Friction at Sanctuary Festival 08. Friction did his fast-paced mixing trick (although still not as quick as Mampi), so the chance to recover was much appreciated.
